1 SAMUEL 29 7 Wherefore now return, and go in PEACE, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 3 21 And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in PEACE. 22 And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in PEACE. 23 When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in PEACE. 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and PEACE offerings before the LORD. 18 And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and PEACE offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts. 2 SAMUEL 10 19 And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made PEACE with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more. 2 SAMUEL 13 20 And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy PEACE, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house. 2 SAMUEL 14 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 2 SAMUEL 15 9 And the king said unto him, Go in PEACE. So he arose, and went to Hebron. 27 The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in PEACE, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him AFRAID: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only: 3 And I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in PEACE. 2 SAMUEL 19 24 And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in PEACE. 30 And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in PEACE unto his own house. 2 SAMUEL 22 5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID; 46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be AFRAID out of their close places. 2 SAMUEL 24 25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and PEACE offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel. 1 KINGS 1 49 And all the guests that were with Adonijah were AFRAID, and rose up, and went every man his way. 1 KINGS 2 5 Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in PEACE, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet. 6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in PEACE. 33 Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be PEACE for ever from the LORD. 1 KINGS 3 15 And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered PEACE offerings, and made a feast to all his servants. 1 KINGS 4 24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had PEACE on all sides round about him. 1 KINGS 5 12 And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was PEACE between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together. 1 KINGS 8 63 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of PEACE offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD. 64 The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the PEACE offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the PEACE offerings. 1 KINGS 9 25 And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and PEACE offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house. 1 KINGS 20 18 And he said, Whether they be come out for PEACE, take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive. 1 KINGS 22 17 And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in PEACE. 27 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in PEACE. 28 And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in PEACE, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you. 44 And Jehoshaphat made PEACE with the king of Israel. 2 KINGS 1 15 And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not AFRAID of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. 2 KINGS 2 3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your PEACE. 5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your PEACE. 2 KINGS 5 19 And he said unto him, Go in PEACE. So he departed from him a little way. 2 KINGS 7 9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our PEACE: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household. 2 KINGS 9 17 And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it PEACE? 18 So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it PEACE? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with PEACE? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again. 19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it PEACE? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with PEACE? turn thee behind me. 22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it PEACE, Jehu? And he answered, What PEACE, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? 31 And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri PEACE, who slew his master? 2 KINGS 10 4 But they were exceedingly AFRAID, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand? 2 KINGS 16 13 And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his PEACE offerings, upon the altar. 2 KINGS 18 36 But the people held their PEACE, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not. 2 KINGS 19 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. --MORE-- |
