JOSHUA 14 3 For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the OTHER side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them. JOSHUA 17 5 And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the OTHER side Jordan; JOSHUA 20 8 And on the OTHER side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them, JOSHUA 23 16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served OTHER gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you. JOSHUA 24 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the OTHER side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served OTHER gods. 3 And I took your father Abraham from the OTHER side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the OTHER side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you. 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the OTHER side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the OTHER side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve OTHER gods; JUDGES 2 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed OTHER gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. 17 And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after OTHER gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so. 19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following OTHER gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 7 And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the OTHER people go every man unto his place. 25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the OTHER side Jordan. JUDGES 9 44 And Abimelech, and the company that was with him, rushed forward, and stood in the entering of the gate of the city: and the two OTHER companies ran upon all the people that were in the fields, and slew them. JUDGES 10 8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the OTHER side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead. 13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served OTHER gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. JUDGES 20 30 And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at OTHER times. 31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at OTHER times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the OTHER to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel. But he told not his father. 4 And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines' garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a sharp rock on the OTHER side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the OTHER Seneh. 5 The forefront of the one was situate northward over against Michmash, and the OTHER southward over against Gibeah. 40 Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the OTHER side. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also. 1 SAMUEL 20 25 And the king sat upon his seat, as at OTHER times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul's side, and David's place was empty. --MORE-- |
