DEUTERONOMY 11 8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and POSSESS the land, whither ye go to POSSESS it; 10 For the land, whither thou goest in to POSSESS it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs: 11 But the land, whither ye go to POSSESS it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: 23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall POSSESS greater nations and mightier than yourselves. 29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to POSSESS it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. 31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to POSSESS the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall POSSESS it, and dwell therein. DEUTERONOMY 12 1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to POSSESS it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. 2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall POSSESS served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: 29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to POSSESS them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; DEUTERONOMY 15 4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to POSSESS it: DEUTERONOMY 17 14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt POSSESS it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; DEUTERONOMY 18 14 For these nations, which thou shalt POSSESS, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do. 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 19 2 Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to POSSESS it. 14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 1 If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to POSSESS it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him: DEUTERONOMY 23 20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 25 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to POSSESS it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 21 The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to POSSESS it. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 30 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt POSSESS it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to POSSESS it. 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 31 3 The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt POSSESS them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said. 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 13 And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 32 47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to POSSESS it. DEUTERONOMY 33 23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: POSSESS thou the west and the south. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. 11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to POSSESS the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to POSSESS it. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 18 3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to POSSESS the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you? JOSHUA 23 5 And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall POSSESS their land, as the LORD your God hath promised unto you. JOSHUA 24 4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to POSSESS it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might POSSESS their land; and I destroyed them from before you. JUDGES 2 6 And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to POSSESS the land. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 11 23 So now the LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou POSSESS it? 24 Wilt not thou POSSESS that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to POSSESS? So whomsoever the LORD our God shall drive out from before us, them will we POSSESS. JUDGES 18 9 And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to POSSESS the land. RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. --MORE-- |
