DEUTERONOMY 3 3 So the LORD OUR God delivered into OUR hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. DEUTERONOMY 4 7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD OUR God is in all things that we call upon him for? DEUTERONOMY 5 2 The LORD OUR God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The LORD made not this covenant with OUR fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 24 And ye said, Behold, the LORD OUR God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. 25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD OUR God any more, then we shall die. 27 Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD OUR God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD OUR God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. DEUTERONOMY 6 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD OUR God is one LORD: 20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD OUR God hath commanded you? 22 And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before OUR eyes: 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto OUR fathers. 24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD OUR God, for OUR good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. 25 And it shall be OUR righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD OUR God, as he hath commanded us. DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 7 And they shall answer and say, OUR hands have not shed this blood, neither have OUR eyes seen it. 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This OUR son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey OUR voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. DEUTERONOMY 26 3 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto OUR fathers for to give us. 7 And when we cried unto the LORD God of OUR fathers, the LORD heard OUR voice, and looked on OUR affliction, and OUR labour, and OUR oppression: 15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto OUR fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 29 15 But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD OUR God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: 18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD OUR God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD OUR God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to OUR children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because OUR God is not among us? DEUTERONOMY 32 3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto OUR God. 27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, OUR hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this. 31 For their rock is not as OUR Rock, even OUR enemies themselves being judges. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 2 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, OUR hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. 13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver OUR lives from death. 14 And the men answered her, OUR life for yours, if ye utter not this OUR business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on OUR head, if any hand be upon him. 20 And if thou utter this OUR business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into OUR hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us. JOSHUA 5 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for OUR adversaries? JOSHUA 7 9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off OUR name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name? JOSHUA 9 11 Wherefore OUR elders and all the inhabitants of OUR country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us. 12 This OUR bread we took hot for OUR provision out of OUR houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy: 13 And these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and these OUR garments and OUR shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of OUR lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 17 4 And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among OUR brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. JOSHUA 18 6 Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD OUR God. --MORE-- |
