JOSHUA 2 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, OUR hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. 13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver OUR lives from death. 14 And the men answered her, OUR life for yours, if ye utter not this OUR business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on OUR head, if any hand be upon him. 20 And if thou utter this OUR business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into OUR hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us. JOSHUA 5 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for OUR adversaries? JOSHUA 7 9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off OUR name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name? JOSHUA 9 11 Wherefore OUR elders and all the inhabitants of OUR country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us. 12 This OUR bread we took hot for OUR provision out of OUR houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy: 13 And these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and these OUR garments and OUR shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of OUR lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 17 4 And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among OUR brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. JOSHUA 18 6 Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD OUR God. JOSHUA 21 2 And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for OUR cattle. JOSHUA 22 19 Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD OUR God. 24 And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto OUR children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel? 25 For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make OUR children cease from fearing the LORD. 27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and OUR generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with OUR burnt offerings, and with OUR sacrifices, and with OUR peace offerings; that your children may not say to OUR children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. 28 Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to OUR generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which OUR fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you. 29 God forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD OUR God that is before his tabernacle. JOSHUA 24 17 For the LORD OUR God, he it is that brought us up and OUR fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in OUR sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is OUR God. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD OUR God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. JUDGES 6 13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which OUR fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. JUDGES 9 3 And his mother's brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is OUR brother. JUDGES 10 10 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken OUR God, and also served Baalim. JUDGES 11 2 And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in OUR father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman. 6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be OUR captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon. 8 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be OUR head over all the inhabitants of Gilead. 24 Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the LORD OUR God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess. JUDGES 13 23 But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at OUR hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these. JUDGES 16 23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, OUR god hath delivered Samson OUR enemy into OUR hand. 24 And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, OUR god hath delivered into OUR hands OUR enemy, and the destroyer of OUR country, which slew many of us. JUDGES 18 5 And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether OUR way which we go shall be prosperous. JUDGES 19 19 Yet there is both straw and provender for OUR asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing. JUDGES 21 7 How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of OUR daughters to wives? 18 Howbeit we may not give them wives of OUR daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin. 22 And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for OUR sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, that ye should be guilty. RUTH 2 20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of OUR next kinsmen. RUTH 3 2 And now is not Boaz of OUR kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of OUR enemies. 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 5 7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon OUR god. 10 Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and OUR people. 11 So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and OUR people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. --MORE-- |
