DEUTERONOMY 30 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy MOUTH, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 32 1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my MOUTH. JOSHUA 1 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy MOUTH; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 6 10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your MOUTH, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. JOSHUA 9 14 And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the MOUTH of the LORD. 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 10 18 And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the MOUTH of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them: 22 Then said Joshua, Open the MOUTH of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave. 27 And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's MOUTH, which remain until this very day. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their MOUTH, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. JUDGES 9 38 Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy MOUTH, wherewith thou saidst, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them. JUDGES 11 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my MOUTH unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. 36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy MOUTH unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy MOUTH; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon. JUDGES 18 19 And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy MOUTH, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel? RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 1 12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her MOUTH. 1 SAMUEL 2 1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my MOUTH is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your MOUTH: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 14 26 And when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his MOUTH: for the people feared the oath. 27 But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his MOUTH; and his eyes were enlightened. 1 SAMUEL 17 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his MOUTH: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 16 And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy MOUTH hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed. 2 SAMUEL 6 9 And David was AFRAID of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 2 SAMUEL 14 3 And come to the king, and speak on this manner unto him. So Joab put the words in her MOUTH. 15 Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me AFRAID: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 19 And the king said, Is not the hand of Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words in the MOUTH of thine handmaid: 2 SAMUEL 17 2 And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him AFRAID: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only: 19 And the woman took and spread a covering over the well's MOUTH, and spread ground corn thereon; and the thing was not known. 2 SAMUEL 18 25 And the watchman cried, and told the king. And the king said, If he be alone, there is tidings in his MOUTH. And he came apace, and drew near. 2 SAMUEL 22 5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me AFRAID; 9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his MOUTH devoured: coals were kindled by it. 46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be AFRAID out of their close places. --MORE-- |
