DEUTERONOMY 2 12 The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD GAVE unto them. DEUTERONOMY 3 12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, GAVE I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites. 13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, GAVE I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants. 15 And I GAVE Gilead unto Machir. 16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I GAVE from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon; DEUTERONOMY 4 9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou FORGET the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; 23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye FORGET the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor FORGET the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. DEUTERONOMY 6 12 Then beware lest thou FORGET the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. DEUTERONOMY 8 11 Beware that thou FORGET not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou FORGET the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all FORGET the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. DEUTERONOMY 9 7 Remember, and FORGET not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD. 11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD GAVE me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant. DEUTERONOMY 10 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD GAVE them unto me. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 22 16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I GAVE my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; DEUTERONOMY 25 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not FORGET it. DEUTERONOMY 29 8 And we took their land, and GAVE it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh. DEUTERONOMY 31 23 And he GAVE Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee. JOSHUA 1 14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses GAVE you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them; 15 Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant GAVE you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising. JOSHUA 11 23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua GAVE it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war. JOSHUA 12 6 Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD GAVE it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh. 7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua GAVE unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions; JOSHUA 13 8 With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses GAVE them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD GAVE them; 14 Only unto the tribes of Levi he GAVE none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them. 15 And Moses GAVE unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families. 24 And Moses GAVE inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families. 29 And Moses GAVE inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families. 33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses GAVE not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them. JOSHUA 14 3 For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he GAVE none inheritance among them. 4 For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they GAVE no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance. 13 And Joshua blessed him, and GAVE unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. JOSHUA 15 13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he GAVE a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron. 17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he GAVE him Achsah his daughter to wife. 19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he GAVE her the upper springs, and the nether springs. JOSHUA 17 4 And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he GAVE them an inheritance among the brethren of their father. --MORE-- |
