NUMBERS 16 9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? NUMBERS 18 4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the SERVICE of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you. 6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7 Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a SERVICE of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. 21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their SERVICE which they serve, even the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation. 23 But the Levites shall do the SERVICE of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. 31 And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your SERVICE in the tabernacle of the congregation. JOSHUA 22 27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the SERVICE of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. And who then is willing to consecrate his SERVICE this day unto the LORD? 7 And gave for the SERVICE of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. 2 CHRONICLES 8 14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their SERVICE, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded. 2 CHRONICLES 10 9 And he said unto them, What ADVICE give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us? 14 And answered them after the ADVICE of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. 2 CHRONICLES 12 8 Nevertheless they shall be his servants; that they may know my SERVICE, and the SERVICE of the kingdoms of the countries. 2 CHRONICLES 24 12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the SERVICE of the house of the LORD, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took ADVICE, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. 2 CHRONICLES 29 35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the SERVICE of the house of the LORD was set in order. 2 CHRONICLES 31 2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his SERVICE, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. 16 Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their SERVICE in their charges according to their courses; 21 And in every work that he began in the SERVICE of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered. 2 CHRONICLES 34 13 Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and were overseers of all that wrought the work in any manner of SERVICE: and of the Levites there were scribes, and officers, and porters. 2 CHRONICLES 35 2 And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the SERVICE of the house of the LORD, 10 So the SERVICE was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment. 15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their SERVICE; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them. 16 So all the SERVICE of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah. --MORE-- |
