Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. 14 And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I CUT off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile. 15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? 13 Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will CUT off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard. NAHUM 3 15 There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall CUT thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. 17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be CUT off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ZEPHANIAH 1 3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will CUT off man from off the land, saith the LORD. 4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will CUT off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests; 11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are CUT down; all they that bear silver are CUT off. ZEPHANIAH 3 6 I have CUT off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant. 7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be CUT off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. ZECHARIAH 5 3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be CUT off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be CUT off as on that side according to it.
