LEVITICUS 17 11 For the life of the FLESH is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. 14 For it is the life of all FLESH; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of FLESH: for the life of all FLESH is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. 16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his FLESH; then he shall bear his iniquity. LEVITICUS 19 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your FLESH for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. LEVITICUS 21 5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their FLESH. LEVITICUS 22 6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his FLESH with water. NUMBERS 8 7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their FLESH, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. NUMBERS 10 35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee FLEE before thee. NUMBERS 11 4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us FLESH to eat? 13 Whence should I have FLESH to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us FLESH, that we may eat. 18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat FLESH: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us FLESH to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you FLESH, and ye shall eat. 21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them FLESH, that they may eat a whole month. 33 And while the FLESH was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague. NUMBERS 12 12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the FLESH is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb. NUMBERS 16 22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all FLESH, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? NUMBERS 19 5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her FLESH, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: 7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his FLESH in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. 8 And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his FLESH in water, and shall be unclean until the even. NUMBERS 24 11 Therefore now FLEE thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. NUMBERS 27 16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all FLESH, set a man over the congregation, NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. DEUTERONOMY 4 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 5 26 For who is there of all FLESH, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? DEUTERONOMY 12 15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat FLESH in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart. 20 When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat FLESH, because thy soul longeth to eat FLESH; thou mayest eat FLESH, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after. 23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the FLESH. 27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the FLESH and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the FLESH. DEUTERONOMY 14 8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their FLESH, nor touch their dead carcase. DEUTERONOMY 16 4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the FLESH, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. 53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the FLESH of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee: 55 So that he will not give to any of them of the FLESH of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. DEUTERONOMY 32 42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour FLESH; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. --MORE-- |
