NUMBERS 12 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? JOSHUA 11 3 And to the Canaanite on the EAST and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh. 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 12 1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the EAST: 3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the EAST, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the EAST, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah: JOSHUA 15 5 And the EAST border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan: JOSHUA 16 1 And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the EAST, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel, 5 And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the EAST side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper; 6 And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the EAST to Janohah; JOSHUA 17 10 Southward it was Ephraim's, and northward it was Manasseh's, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the EAST. JOSHUA 18 7 But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the EAST, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them. 20 And Jordan was the border of it on the EAST side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families. JOSHUA 19 13 And from thence passeth on along on the EAST to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah; JUDGES 6 3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the EAST, even they came up against them; 33 Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the EAST were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the EAST lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. JUDGES 8 10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of all the hosts of the children of the EAST: for there fell an hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword. 11 And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelt in tents on the EAST of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host; for the host was secure. JUDGES 11 18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the EAST side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab. JUDGES 21 19 Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the EAST side of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.
