DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose NAME was Belteshazzar, according to the NAME of my God, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying, 19 Then Daniel, whose NAME was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. DANIEL 9 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy NAME to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy NAME: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy NAME. DANIEL 10 1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose NAME was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. HOSEA 1 4 And the LORD said unto him, Call his NAME Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel. 6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her NAME Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away. 9 Then said God, Call his NAME Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God. HOSEA 2 17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their NAME. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the NAME of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the NAME of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. AMOS 2 7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy NAME: AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? AMOS 4 13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his NAME. AMOS 5 8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his NAME: 27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose NAME is The God of hosts. AMOS 6 10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the NAME of the LORD. AMOS 9 6 It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his NAME. 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my NAME, saith the LORD that doeth this. JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. 5 For all people will walk every one in the NAME of his god, and we will walk in the NAME of the LORD our God for ever and ever. MICAH 5 4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the NAME of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. MICAH 6 9 The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy NAME: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it. MICAH 7 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 1 14 And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy NAME be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 1 4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the NAME of the Chemarims with the priests; ZEPHANIAH 3 9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the NAME of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. 12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the NAME of the LORD. 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. 20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a NAME and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD. ZECHARIAH 5 4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my NAME: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. ZECHARIAH 14 9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his NAME one. MALACHI 1 6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my NAME. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy NAME? 11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my NAME shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my NAME, and a pure offering: for my NAME shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. 14 But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my NAME is dreadful among the heathen. MALACHI 2 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my NAME, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my NAME. --MORE-- |
