NUMBERS 8 8 Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take FOR a sin offering. 11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD FOR an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD. 12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one FOR a sin offering, and the other FOR a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement FOR the Levites. 13 And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them FOR an offering unto the LORD. 15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them FOR an offering. 16 FOR they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me. 17 FOR all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them FOR myself. 18 And I have taken the Levites FOR all the firstborn of the children of Israel. 19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement FOR the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. 21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement FOR them to cleanse them. NUMBERS 9 14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both FOR the stranger, and FOR him that was born in the land. NUMBERS 10 2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them FOR the calling of the assembly, and FOR the journeying of the camps. 6 When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm FOR their journeys. 8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you FOR an ordinance FOR ever throughout your generations. 10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you FOR a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God. 29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: FOR the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel. 33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place FOR them. NUMBERS 11 13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? FOR they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. 14 I am not ABLE to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy FOR me. 18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: FOR ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? FOR it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain FOR them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together FOR them, to suffice them? 29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou FOR my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them! 32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad FOR themselves round about the camp. NUMBERS 12 1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: FOR he had married an Ethiopian woman. NUMBERS 13 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; FOR we are well ABLE to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not ABLE to go up against the people; FOR they are stronger than we. NUMBERS 14 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better FOR us to return into Egypt? 9 Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; FOR they are bread FOR us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. 11 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, FOR all the signs which I have shewed among them? 13 And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (FOR thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;) 14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: FOR they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night. 16 Because the LORD was not ABLE to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness. 32 But as FOR you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day FOR a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. 40 And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: FOR we have sinned. 42 Go not up, FOR the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. 43 FOR the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you. NUMBERS 15 5 And the fourth part of an hin of wine FOR a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, FOR one lamb. 6 Or FOR a ram, thou shalt prepare FOR a meat offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil. 7 And FOR a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin of wine, FOR a sweet savour unto the LORD. 8 And when thou preparest a bullock FOR a burnt offering, or FOR a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD: 10 And thou shalt bring FOR a drink offering half an hin of wine, FOR an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. 11 Thus shall it be done FOR one bullock, or FOR one ram, or FOR a lamb, or a kid. 15 One ordinance shall be both FOR you of the congregation, and also FOR the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance FOR ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. 16 One law and one manner shall be FOR you, and FOR the stranger that sojourneth with you. 20 Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough FOR an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it. 24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock FOR a burnt offering, FOR a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats FOR a sin offering. 25 And the priest shall make an atonement FOR all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; FOR it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, FOR their ignorance: 27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year FOR a sin offering. 28 And the priest shall make an atonement FOR the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement FOR him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 Ye shall have one law FOR him that sinneth through ignorance, both FOR him that is born among the children of Israel, and FOR the stranger that sojourneth among them. 39 And it shall be unto you FOR a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: --MORE-- |
