DEUTERONOMY 23 23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou HAST vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou HAST promised with thy mouth. DEUTERONOMY 24 19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and HAST forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands. DEUTERONOMY 26 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, HAST given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God: 12 When thou HAST made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and HAST given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; 13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou HAST commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them. 14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou HAST commanded me. 15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou HAST given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey. 17 Thou HAST avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou HAST forsaken me. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 32 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and HAST forgotten God that formed thee. JOSHUA 2 17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou HAST made us swear. 20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou HAST made us to swear. JOSHUA 7 7 And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore HAST thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan! 19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou HAST done; hide it not from me. 25 And Joshua said, Why HAST thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 15 19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou HAST given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs. JOSHUA 17 14 And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why HAST thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto? 17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and HAST great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: JOSHUA 20 3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may FLEE thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. 4 And when he that doth FLEE unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might FLEE thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. JUDGES 8 1 And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why HAST thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply. 22 Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou HAST delivered us from the hand of Midian. JUDGES 9 38 Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth, wherewith thou saidst, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou HAST despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them. JUDGES 11 12 And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What HAST thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land? 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou HAST brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. 36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou HAST opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon. And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them. 18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou HAST given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? JUDGES 16 10 And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou HAST mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound. 13 And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou HAST mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web. 15 And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou HAST mocked me these three times, and HAST not told me wherein thy great strength lieth. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. --MORE-- |
