JUDGES 7 11 And thou shalt hear what they say; and AFTERWARD shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host. JUDGES 16 4 And it came to pass AFTERWARD, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. JUDGES 19 5 And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and AFTERWARD go your way. 1 SAMUEL 2 10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his ANOINTED. 35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine ANOINTED for ever. 1 SAMUEL 10 1 Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath ANOINTED thee to be captain over his inheritance? 1 SAMUEL 12 3 Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his ANOINTED: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. 5 And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his ANOINTED is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness. 1 SAMUEL 15 17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD ANOINTED thee king over Israel? 1 SAMUEL 16 6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's ANOINTED is before him. 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and ANOINTED him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. 1 SAMUEL 24 5 And it came to pass AFTERWARD, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt. 6 And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's ANOINTED, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the ANOINTED of the LORD. 8 David also arose AFTERWARD, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself. 10 Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's ANOINTED. 1 SAMUEL 26 9 And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's ANOINTED, and be guiltless? 11 The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's ANOINTED: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go. 16 This thing is not good that thou hast done. As the LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the LORD's ANOINTED. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster. 23 The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's ANOINTED. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's ANOINTED? 16 And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's ANOINTED. 21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been ANOINTED with oil. 2 SAMUEL 2 4 And the men of Judah came, and there they ANOINTED David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul. 7 Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have ANOINTED me king over them. 2 SAMUEL 3 28 And AFTERWARD when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the LORD for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner: 39 And I am this day weak, though ANOINTED king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness. 2 SAMUEL 5 3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they ANOINTED David king over Israel. 17 But when the Philistines heard that they had ANOINTED David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold. 2 SAMUEL 12 7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. 6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have ANOINTED thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel. 12 And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have ANOINTED thee king over Israel. --MORE-- |
