ISAIAH 13 2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the GATES of the nobles. 14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and FLEE every one into his own land. ISAIAH 15 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall FLEE unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 17 13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall FLEE far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. ISAIAH 20 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 26 2 Open ye the GATES, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. ISAIAH 27 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that FORMED them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 37 26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have FORMED it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. ISAIAH 38 10 I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the GATES of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. ISAIAH 43 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that FORMED thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have FORMED him; yea, I have made him. 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God FORMED, neither shall there be after me. 21 This people have I FORMED for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. ISAIAH 44 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and FORMED thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. 10 Who hath FORMED a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing? 21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have FORMED thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. 24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that FORMED thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; ISAIAH 45 1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved GATES; and the GATES shall not be shut; 2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the GATES of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that FORMED the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he FORMED it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. ISAIAH 48 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 49 5 And now, saith the LORD that FORMED me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. ISAIAH 51 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 54 12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy GATES of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. 17 No weapon that is FORMED against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 60 11 Therefore thy GATES shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy GATES Praise. ISAIAH 62 10 Go through, go through the GATES; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. JEREMIAH 1 5 Before I FORMED thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the GATES of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. JEREMIAH 4 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. JEREMIAH 7 2 Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these GATES to worship the LORD. JEREMIAH 14 2 Judah mourneth, and the GATES thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up. JEREMIAH 15 7 And I will fan them with a fan in the GATES of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways. JEREMIAH 17 19 Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the GATES of Jerusalem; 20 And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these GATES: 21 Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the GATES of Jerusalem; 24 And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the GATES of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; 25 Then shall there enter into the GATES of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. 27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the GATES of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the GATES thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. JEREMIAH 22 2 And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these GATES: 4 For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the GATES of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people. 19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the GATES of Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 25 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to FLEE, nor the principal of the flock to escape. JEREMIAH 33 2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that FORMED it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; --MORE-- |
