DEUTERONOMY 15 20 Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the PLACE which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household. DEUTERONOMY 16 2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the PLACE which the LORD shall choose to PLACE his name there. 6 But at the PLACE which the LORD thy God shall choose to PLACE his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt. 7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the PLACE which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents. 11 And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the PLACE which the LORD thy God hath chosen to PLACE his name there. 15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the PLACE which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice. 16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the PLACE which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: DEUTERONOMY 17 8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the PLACE which the LORD thy God shall choose; 10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that PLACE which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee: DEUTERONOMY 18 6 And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the PLACE which the LORD shall choose; 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his PLACE; DEUTERONOMY 23 12 Thou shalt have a PLACE also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: 16 He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that PLACE which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him. DEUTERONOMY 26 2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the PLACE which the LORD thy God shall choose to PLACE his name there. 9 And he hath brought us into this PLACE, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey. DEUTERONOMY 27 15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret PLACE. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 29 7 And when ye came unto this PLACE, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them: DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 11 When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the PLACE which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. JOSHUA 1 3 Every PLACE that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 3 3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your PLACE, and go after it. JOSHUA 4 3 And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the PLACE where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging PLACE, where ye shall lodge this night. 8 And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the PLACE where they lodged, and laid them down there. 9 And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the PLACE where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day. 18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their PLACE, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before. JOSHUA 5 9 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the PLACE is called Gilgal unto this day. 15 And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the PLACE whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. JOSHUA 7 26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that PLACE was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day. JOSHUA 8 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their PLACE, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. 27 And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the PLACE which he should choose. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 20 4 And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a PLACE, that he may dwell among them. JUDGES 2 5 And they called the name of that PLACE Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the LORD. JUDGES 6 26 And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered PLACE, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 7 And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his PLACE. 21 And they stood every man in his PLACE round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. JUDGES 9 55 And when the men of Israel saw that Abimelech was dead, they departed every man unto his PLACE. JUDGES 17 8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a PLACE: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed. 9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a PLACE. JUDGES 18 3 When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and said unto him, Who brought thee hither? and what makest thou in this PLACE? and what hast thou here? 10 When ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a PLACE where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth. 12 And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that PLACE Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim. --MORE-- |
