ISAIAH 61 7 For your SHAME ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride ADORNETH herself with her jewels. JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 3 24 For SHAME hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. 25 We lie down in our SHAME, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 13 26 Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy SHAME may appear. JEREMIAH 20 18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with SHAME? JEREMIAH 23 40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual SHAME, which shall not be forgotten. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 46 12 The nations have heard of thy SHAME, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together. 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 48 39 They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with SHAME! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him. JEREMIAH 51 51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: SHAME hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 7 18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and SHAME shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. EZEKIEL 10 21 Every one had four faces APIECE, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. EZEKIEL 16 52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own SHAME for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy SHAME, in that thou hast justified thy sisters. 54 That thou mayest bear thine own SHAME, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them. 63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy SHAME, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. 24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their SHAME with them that go down to the pit. 25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their SHAME with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain. 30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their SHAME with them that go down to the pit. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. 29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the SHAME of the heathen any more. EZEKIEL 36 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the SHAME of the heathen: 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their SHAME. 15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the SHAME of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their SHAME, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 41 24 And the doors had two leaves APIECE, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. EZEKIEL 44 13 And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their SHAME, and their abominations which they have committed. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 12 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to SHAME and everlasting contempt. HOSEA 4 7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into SHAME. 18 Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with SHAME do love, Give ye. HOSEA 9 10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that SHAME; and their abominations were according as they loved. HOSEA 10 6 It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive SHAME, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel. --MORE-- |
