ISAIAH 9 18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the FOREST, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. ISAIAH 10 18 And shall consume the glory of his FOREST, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth. 19 And the rest of the trees of his FOREST shall be few, that a child may write them. 34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the FOREST with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. ISAIAH 24 15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the FIRES, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. ISAIAH 29 7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a DREAM of a night vision. 17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a FOREST? ISAIAH 32 15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a FOREST. 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the FOREST; and the city shall be low in a low place. ISAIAH 37 24 By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the FOREST of his Carmel. ISAIAH 44 14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the FOREST: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it. 23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O FOREST, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel. ISAIAH 56 9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the FOREST. JEREMIAH 5 6 Wherefore a lion out of the FOREST shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased. JEREMIAH 10 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the FOREST, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. JEREMIAH 12 8 Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the FOREST; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it. JEREMIAH 21 14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the FOREST thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it. JEREMIAH 23 28 The prophet that hath a DREAM, let him tell a DREAM; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 26 18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a FOREST. JEREMIAH 46 23 They shall cut down her FOREST, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable. EZEKIEL 15 2 Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the FOREST? 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the FOREST, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem. EZEKIEL 20 46 Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the FOREST of the south field; 47 And say to the FOREST of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. DANIEL 2 3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a DREAM, and my spirit was troubled to know the DREAM. 4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the DREAM, and we will shew the interpretation. 5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the DREAM, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. 6 But if ye shew the DREAM, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the DREAM, and the interpretation thereof. 7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the DREAM, and we will shew the interpretation of it. 9 But if ye will not make known unto me the DREAM, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the DREAM, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. 26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the DREAM which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? 28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy DREAM, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; 36 This is the DREAM; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the DREAM is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a DREAM which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6 Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the DREAM. 7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the DREAM before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. 8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my God, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the DREAM, saying, 9 O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my DREAM that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof. 18 This DREAM I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee. 19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the DREAM, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the DREAM be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies. --MORE-- |
