GENESIS 38 3 And SHE conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er. 4 And SHE conceived again, and bare a son; and SHE called his name Onan. 5 And SHE yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when SHE bare him. 14 And SHE put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for SHE saw that Shelah was grown, and SHE was not given unto him to wife. 15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because SHE had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that SHE was his daughter in law.) And SHE said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And SHE said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it? 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And SHE said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and SHE conceived by him. 19 And SHE arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, SHE is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When SHE was brought forth, SHE sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and SHE said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. 26 And Judah acknowledged them, and said, SHE hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more. 28 And it came to pass, when SHE travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and SHE said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. GENESIS 39 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and SHE said, Lie with me. 10 And it came to pass, as SHE spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 12 And SHE caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when SHE saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That SHE called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 16 And SHE laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And SHE spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which SHE spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. GENESIS 42 28 And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were AFRAID, saying one to another, What is this that God hath done unto us? 35 And it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack: and when both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were AFRAID. GENESIS 43 18 And the men were AFRAID, because they were brought into Joseph's house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses. GENESIS 45 23 And to his father he sent after this manner; ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten SHE asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way. GENESIS 46 15 These be the sons of Leah, which SHE bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three. 18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these SHE bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls. 25 These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and SHE bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven. EXODUS 1 16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then SHE shall live. EXODUS 2 2 And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when SHE saw him that he was a goodly child, SHE hid him three months. 3 And when SHE could not longer hide him, SHE took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and SHE laid it in the flags by the river's brink. 5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when SHE saw the ark among the flags, SHE sent her maid to fetch it. 6 And when SHE had opened it, SHE saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And SHE had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children. 7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that SHE may nurse the child for thee? 10 And the child grew, and SHE brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And SHE called his name Moses: and SHE said, Because I drew him out of the water. 22 And SHE bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land. EXODUS 3 6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was AFRAID to look upon God. EXODUS 4 26 So he let him go: then SHE said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision. EXODUS 6 20 And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and SHE bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years. 23 And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and SHE bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 25 And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and SHE bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. EXODUS 14 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore AFRAID: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. EXODUS 15 14 The people shall hear, and be AFRAID: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. EXODUS 21 4 If his master have given him a wife, and SHE have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself. 7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, SHE shall not go out as the menservants do. 8 If SHE please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her. 11 And if he do not these three unto her, then shall SHE go out free without money. EXODUS 34 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were AFRAID to come nigh him. LEVITICUS 12 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then SHE shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall SHE be unclean. 4 And SHE shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; SHE shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. 5 But if SHE bear a maid child, then SHE shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and SHE shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days. 6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, SHE shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest: 7 Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and SHE shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female. 8 And if SHE be not able to bring a lamb, then SHE shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and SHE shall be clean. --MORE-- |
