EZEKIEL 16 7 I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou HAST increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare. 17 Thou HAST also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them, 18 And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou HAST set mine oil and mine incense before them. 19 My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou HAST even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD. 20 Moreover thou HAST taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou HAST borne unto me, and these HAST thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter, 21 That thou HAST slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them? 22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou HAST not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood. 24 That thou HAST also built unto thee an eminent place, and HAST made thee an high place in every street. 25 Thou HAST built thy high place at every head of the way, and HAST made thy beauty to be abhorred, and HAST opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms. 26 Thou HAST also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and HAST increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger. 28 Thou HAST played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou HAST played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied. 29 Thou HAST moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied therewith. 31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and HAST not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire; 37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou HAST taken pleasure, and all them that thou HAST loved, with all them that thou HAST hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. 43 Because thou HAST not remembered the days of thy youth, but HAST fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations. 47 Yet HAST thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways. 48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou HAST done, thou and thy daughters. 51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou HAST multiplied thine abominations more than they, and HAST justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou HAST done. 52 Thou also, which HAST judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou HAST committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou HAST justified thy sisters. 54 That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou HAST done, in that thou art a comfort unto them. 58 Thou HAST borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD. 59 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou HAST done, which HAST despised the oath in breaking the covenant. 63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou HAST done, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 22 4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou HAST shed; and HAST defiled thyself in thine idols which thou HAST made; and thou HAST caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries. 8 Thou HAST despised mine holy things, and HAST profaned my sabbaths. 12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou HAST taken usury and increase, and thou HAST greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and HAST forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD. 13 Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou HAST made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. EZEKIEL 23 30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou HAST gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols. 31 Thou HAST walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand. 35 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou HAST forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. 41 And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou HAST set mine incense and mine oil. EZEKIEL 25 6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou HAST clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; EZEKIEL 27 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou HAST said, I am of perfect beauty. 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 28 2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou HAST said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: 4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou HAST gotten thee riches, and HAST gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick HAST thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: 6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou HAST set thine heart as the heart of God; 13 Thou HAST been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou HAST walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou HAST sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou HAST corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou HAST defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 31 10 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou HAST lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height; EZEKIEL 32 9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou HAST not known. 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 33 9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou HAST delivered thy soul. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 35 5 Because thou HAST had a perpetual hatred, and HAST shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: 6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou HAST not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. 10 Because thou HAST said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there: 11 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou HAST used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. 12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou HAST spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. --MORE-- |
