JEREMIAH 29 2 (AFTER that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;) 10 For thus saith the LORD, That AFTER seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. EZEKIEL 23 15 Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, AFTER the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity: 30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring AFTER the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols. 45 And the righteous men, they shall judge them AFTER the manner of adulteresses, and AFTER the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands. 48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do AFTER your lewdness. EZEKIEL 29 16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look AFTER them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 33 20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one AFTER his ways. 31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth AFTER their covetousness. EZEKIEL 40 1 In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year AFTER that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither. 21 And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were AFTER the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. 22 And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were AFTER the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them. 24 AFTER that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures. --MORE-- |
