JOSHUA 5 1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any MORE, because of the children of Israel. 12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any MORE; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. JOSHUA 7 12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any MORE, except ye destroy the accursed from among you. And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no MORE, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. --MORE-- |
