DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. And David sent and communed with ABIGAIL, to take her to him to wife. 40 And when the servants of David were come to ABIGAIL to Carmel, they spake unto her, saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee to him to wife. 42 And ABIGAIL hasted, and arose and rode upon an ass, with five damsels of hers that went after her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife. 1 SAMUEL 27 2 And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of GATH. 3 And David dwelt with Achish at GATH, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and ABIGAIL the Carmelitess, Nabal's wife. 4 And it was told Saul that David was fled to GATH: and he sought no more again for him. 11 And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to GATH, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 30 5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and ABIGAIL the wife of Nabal the Carmelite. 2 SAMUEL 1 20 Tell it not in GATH, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph. 2 SAMUEL 2 2 So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and ABIGAIL Nabal's wife the Carmelite. 2 SAMUEL 3 3 And his second, Chileab, of ABIGAIL the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; 2 SAMUEL 4 4 And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet.
