PSALM 2 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine A vain thing? 9 Thou shalt break them with A rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like A potter's vessel. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but A little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. PSALM 3 3 But thou, O LORD, art A shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. PSALM 10 9 He lieth in wait secretly as A lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. PSALM 11 1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as A bird to your mountain? PSALM 12 2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with A double heart do they speak. 6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in A furnace of earth, purified seven times. PSALM 13 4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I AM moved. PSALM 15 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up A reproach against his neighbour. 4 In whose eyes A vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. PSALM 16 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have A goodly heritage. PSALM 17 3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I AM purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. 12 Like as A lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were A young lion lurking in secret places. PSALM 18 8 There went up A smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 10 And he rode upon A cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. 19 He brought me forth also into A large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 29 For by thee I have run through A troop; and by my God have I leaped over A wall. 30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is A buckler to all those that trust in him. 31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is A rock save our God? 34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that A bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: A people whom I have not known shall serve me. PSALM 19 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set A tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as A bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as A strong man to run A race. PSALM 21 3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest A crown of pure gold on his head. 9 Thou shalt make them as A fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. 11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined A mischievous device, which they are not able to perform. PSALM 22 2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and AM not silent. 6 But I AM A worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people. 13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as A ravening and A roaring lion. 14 I AM poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15 My strength is dried up like A potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for A generation. 31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto A people that shall be born, that he hath done this. PSALM 23 5 Thou preparest A table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. PSALM 24 4 He that hath clean hands, and A pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. PSALM 25 16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I AM desolate and afflicted. PSALM 27 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon A rock. 11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in A plain path, because of mine enemies. PSALM 28 7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I AM helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
