PSALM 37 10 For yet A little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 16 A little that A righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 23 The steps of A good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 25 I have been young, and now AM old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like A green bay tree. PSALM 38 6 I AM troubled; I AM bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. 7 For my loins are filled with A loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. 8 I AM feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. 13 But I, as A deaf man, heard not; and I was as A dumb man that openeth not his mouth. 14 Thus I was as A man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs. 17 For I AM ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me. PSALM 39 1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with A bridle, while the wicked is before me. 4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I AM. 6 Surely every man walketh in A vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. 10 Remove thy stroke away from me: I AM consumed by the blow of thine hand. 11 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like A moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah. 12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I AM A stranger with thee, and A sojourner, as all my fathers were. PSALM 40 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon A rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put A new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I AM not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. 15 Let them be desolate for A reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha. 17 But I AM poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. PSALM 42 4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with A multitude that kept holyday. 10 As with A sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? PSALM 44 3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst A favour unto them. 13 Thou makest us A reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and A derision to them that are round about us. 14 Thou makest us A byword among the heathen, A shaking of the head among the people. 20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to A strange god; PSALM 45 1 My heart is inditing A good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of A ready writer. 6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is A right sceptre. 12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with A gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. PSALM 46 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 4 There is A river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 10 Be still, and know that I AM God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. PSALM 47 2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is A great King over all the earth. 5 God is gone up with A shout, the LORD with the sound of A trumpet. PSALM 48 3 God is known in her palaces for A refuge. 6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of A woman in travail. PSALM 49 4 I will incline mine ear to A parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God A ransom for him: PSALM 50 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made A covenant with me by sacrifice. 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I AM God, even thy God. 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon A thousand hills. 18 When thou sawest A thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. PSALM 51 10 Create in me A clean heart, O God; and renew A right spirit within me. 17 The sacrifices of God are A broken spirit: A broken and A contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. PSALM 52 2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like A sharp razor, working deceitfully. 8 But I AM like A green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. PSALM 55 2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make A noise; 6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like A dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. 13 But it was thou, A man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. --MORE-- |
