Then I was very sore AFRAID, 3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates THEREOF are consumed with fire? 13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates THEREOF were consumed with fire. 17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates THEREOF are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach. NEHEMIAH 3 3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams THEREOF, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams THEREOF, and set up the doors THEREOF, and the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate. 14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF. 15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors THEREOF, the locks THEREOF, and the bars THEREOF, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. NEHEMIAH 4 6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half THEREOF: for the people had a mind to work. 14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye AFRAID of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. NEHEMIAH 6 9 For they all made us AFRAID, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be AFRAID, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. 16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard THEREOF, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God. NEHEMIAH 9 36 Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit THEREOF and the good THEREOF, behold, we are servants in it: NEHEMIAH 11 25 And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages THEREOF, and at Dibon, and in the villages THEREOF, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages THEREOF, 27 And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and in the villages THEREOF, 28 And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages THEREOF, 30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields THEREOF, at Azekah, and in the villages THEREOF.
