DEUTERONOMY 13 15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle THEREOF, with the edge of the sword. 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street THEREOF, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil THEREOF every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 15 23 Only thou shalt not eat the blood THEREOF; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water. DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 13 And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male THEREOF with the edge of the sword: 14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil THEREOF, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee. 19 When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees THEREOF by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege: DEUTERONOMY 26 14 I have not eaten THEREOF in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought THEREOF for any unclean use, nor given ought THEREOF for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes THEREOF. 31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat THEREOF: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 29 23 And that the whole land THEREOF is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 33 16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness THEREOF, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 9 1 And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard THEREOF; 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 10 2 That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men THEREOF were mighty. 28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king THEREOF he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho. 30 And the LORD delivered it also, and the king THEREOF, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king THEREOF as he did unto the king of Jericho. 37 And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king THEREOF, and all the cities THEREOF, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein. 39 And he took it, and the king THEREOF, and all the cities THEREOF; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king THEREOF; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king. --MORE-- |
