So they built and prospered. 14 And they smote all the cities round ABOUT Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them. 2 CHRONICLES 15 15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round ABOUT. 2 CHRONICLES 17 9 And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went ABOUT throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people. 10 And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round ABOUT Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat. 2 CHRONICLES 18 31 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed ABOUT him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him. 34 And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and ABOUT the time of the sun going down he died. 2 CHRONICLES 20 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not AFRAID nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round ABOUT. 2 CHRONICLES 23 2 And they went ABOUT in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the chief of the fathers of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem. 7 And the Levites shall compass the king round ABOUT, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out. 10 And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round ABOUT. 2 CHRONICLES 24 12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the SERVICE of the house of the LORD, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took ADVICE, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. 2 CHRONICLES 26 6 And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities ABOUT Ashdod, and among the Philistines. 2 CHRONICLES 29 35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the SERVICE of the house of the LORD was set in order. 2 CHRONICLES 31 2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his SERVICE, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. 16 Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their SERVICE in their charges according to their courses; 21 And in every work that he began in the SERVICE of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered. --MORE-- |
