JEREMIAH 9 14 But have walked AFTER the imagination of their own heart, and AFTER Baalim, which their fathers taught them: 16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword AFTER them, till I have consumed them. 22 Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful AFTER the harvestman, and none shall gather them. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD. 9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in ANATHOTH, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver. 18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children AFTER them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, 39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children AFTER them: JEREMIAH 34 8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, AFTER that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them; JEREMIAH 35 15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not AFTER other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me. But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not. JEREMIAH 41 4 And it came to pass the second day AFTER he had slain Gedaliah, and no man knew it, 10 Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the AMMONITES. 15 But Ishmael the son of Nethaniah escaped from Johanan with eight men, and went to the AMMONITES. 16 Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, AFTER that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon: JEREMIAH 42 7 And it came to pass AFTER ten days, that the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close AFTER you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 49 1 Concerning the AMMONITES, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities? 2 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the AMMONITES; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD. 37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword AFTER them, till I have consumed them: JEREMIAH 50 21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy AFTER them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. --MORE-- |
