NUMBERS 21 13 From thence they removed, and pitched on the other SIDE of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. NUMBERS 22 1 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this SIDE Jordan by Jericho. 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. 24 But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this SIDE, and a wall on that SIDE. NUMBERS 24 6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's SIDE, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. NUMBERS 32 19 For we will not inherit with them on yonder SIDE Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this SIDE Jordan eastward. 32 We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this SIDE Jordan may be ours. NUMBERS 34 11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east SIDE of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the SIDE of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: 15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this SIDE Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. NUMBERS 35 5 And ye shall measure from without the city on the east SIDE two thousand cubits, and on the south SIDE two thousand cubits, and on the west SIDE two thousand cubits, and on the north SIDE two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities. 14 Ye shall give three cities on this SIDE Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. DEUTERONOMY 1 1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this SIDE Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab. 5 On this SIDE Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying, 7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea SIDE, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: DEUTERONOMY 3 8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this SIDE Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon; DEUTERONOMY 4 32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one SIDE of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? 41 Then Moses severed three cities on this SIDE Jordan toward the sunrising; 46 On this SIDE Jordan, in the valley over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt: 47 And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this SIDE Jordan toward the sunrising; 49 And all the plain on this SIDE Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah. DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 11 30 Are they not on the other SIDE Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the SIDE of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. 14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this SIDE Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them; 15 Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this SIDE Jordan toward the sunrising. JOSHUA 2 10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other SIDE Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. JOSHUA 5 1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the SIDE of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel. JOSHUA 7 7 And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other SIDE Jordan! JOSHUA 8 9 Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west SIDE of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people. 11 And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north SIDE of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai. 12 And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west SIDE of the city. 22 And the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this SIDE, and some on that SIDE: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape. 33 And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this SIDE the ark and on that SIDE before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel. JOSHUA 9 1 And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this SIDE Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof; 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 12 1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other SIDE Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east: 7 And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this SIDE Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions; --MORE-- |
