This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families. JOSHUA 20 8 And on the other SIDE Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. JOSHUA 22 4 And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other SIDE Jordan. 7 Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this SIDE Jordan westward. JUDGES 8 34 And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every SIDE: JUDGES 10 8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other SIDE Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead. JUDGES 11 18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east SIDE of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other SIDE of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab. JUDGES 19 1 And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the SIDE of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah. 18 And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the SIDE of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to house. But he told not his father. 4 And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines' garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one SIDE, and a sharp rock on the other SIDE: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh. 40 Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one SIDE, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other SIDE. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee. 47 So Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every SIDE, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them. 1 SAMUEL 17 3 And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one SIDE, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other SIDE: and there was a valley between them. 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. --MORE-- |
