JOSHUA 24 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other SIDE of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. 3 And I took your father Abraham from the other SIDE of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other SIDE Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you. 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other SIDE of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other SIDE of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 30 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north SIDE of the hill of Gaash. JUDGES 2 9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north SIDE of the hill Gaash. JUDGES 7 1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north SIDE of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley. 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea SIDE for multitude. 18 When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every SIDE of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. 25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other SIDE Jordan. JUDGES 8 34 And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every SIDE: JUDGES 10 8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other SIDE Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead. JUDGES 11 18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east SIDE of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other SIDE of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab. JUDGES 19 1 And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the SIDE of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah. 18 And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the SIDE of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to house. JUDGES 21 19 Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north SIDE of Bethel, on the east SIDE of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah. RUTH 3 8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was AFRAID, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. 1 SAMUEL 4 7 And the Philistines were AFRAID, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the SIDE of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years. 1 SAMUEL 6 8 And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the SIDE thereof; and send it away, that it may go. 1 SAMUEL 7 7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were AFRAID of the Philistines. 1 SAMUEL 12 11 And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every SIDE, and ye dwelled safe. 1 SAMUEL 14 1 Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that is on the other SIDE. But he told not his father. 4 And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines' garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one SIDE, and a sharp rock on the other SIDE: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh. 40 Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one SIDE, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other SIDE. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee. 47 So Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every SIDE, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them. 1 SAMUEL 17 3 And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one SIDE, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other SIDE: and there was a valley between them. 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly AFRAID. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore AFRAID. 1 SAMUEL 18 12 And Saul was AFRAID of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul. 15 Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was AFRAID of him. 29 And Saul was yet the more AFRAID of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually. 1 SAMUEL 20 20 And I will shoot three arrows on the SIDE thereof, as though I shot at a mark. 21 And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this SIDE of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth. 25 And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul's SIDE, and David's place was empty. 1 SAMUEL 21 1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was AFRAID at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore AFRAID of Achish the king of Gath. 1 SAMUEL 23 3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be AFRAID here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? 26 And Saul went on this SIDE of the mountain, and David and his men on that SIDE of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them. 1 SAMUEL 26 13 Then David went over to the other SIDE, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them: 1 SAMUEL 28 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was AFRAID, and his heart greatly trembled. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not AFRAID: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore AFRAID, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 1 SAMUEL 31 4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 7 And when the men of Israel that were on the other SIDE of the valley, and they that were on the other SIDE Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them. 2 SAMUEL 1 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not AFRAID to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? 2 SAMUEL 2 13 And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one SIDE of the pool, and the other on the other SIDE of the pool. 16 And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's SIDE; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon. --MORE-- |
