PSALM 37 1 Fret NOT thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret NOT thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret NOT thyself in any wise to do evil. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall NOT be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall NOT be. 19 They shall NOT be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth NOT again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 24 Though he fall, he shall NOT be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I NOT seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh NOT his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 33 The LORD will NOT leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was NOT: yea, I sought him, but he could NOT be found. PSALM 40 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth NOT the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst NOT desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou NOT required. 9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have NOT refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. 10 I have NOT hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have NOT concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. 11 Withhold NOT thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am NOT able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. PSALM 41 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt NOT deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth NOT triumph over me. PSALM 44 3 For they got NOT the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. 6 For I will NOT trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. 9 But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest NOT forth with our armies. 12 Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost NOT increase thy wealth by their price. 17 All this is come upon us; yet have we NOT forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. 18 Our heart is NOT turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way; 21 Shall NOT God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. 23 Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us NOT off for ever. PSALM 46 2 Therefore will NOT we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall NOT be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. PSALM 49 9 That he should still live for ever, and NOT see corruption. 12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth NOT: he is like the beasts that perish. 16 Be NOT thou AFRAID when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; 17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall NOT descend after him. 20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth NOT, is like the beasts that perish. PSALM 50 3 Our God shall come, and shall NOT keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 8 I will NOT reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. 12 If I were hungry, I would NOT tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. PSALM 51 11 Cast me NOT away from thy presence; and take NOT thy holy spirit from me. 16 For thou desirest NOT sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest NOT in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt NOT despise. --MORE-- |
