LEVITICUS 24 12 And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD MIGHT be shewed them. LEVITICUS 26 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you AFRAID: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I MIGHT be their God: I am the LORD. NUMBERS 3 47 Thou shalt even take five shekels APIECE by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:) NUMBERS 4 37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that MIGHT do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses. 41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that MIGHT do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD. NUMBERS 7 86 The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels APIECE, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels. NUMBERS 12 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? NUMBERS 14 13 And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy MIGHT from among them;) NUMBERS 17 6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod APIECE, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. NUMBERS 22 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. 41 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that thence he MIGHT see the utmost part of the people. DEUTERONOMY 1 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: 30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he MIGHT deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day. DEUTERONOMY 3 24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy MIGHT? DEUTERONOMY 4 14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye MIGHT do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it. 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he MIGHT instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. 42 That the slayer MIGHT flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he MIGHT live: DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it MIGHT be well with them, and with their children for ever! DEUTERONOMY 6 1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye MIGHT do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy MIGHT. 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he MIGHT bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. 24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he MIGHT preserve us alive, as it is at this day. DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. DEUTERONOMY 8 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he MIGHT make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. 16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he MIGHT humble thee, and that he MIGHT prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; 17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the MIGHT of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no MIGHT in thine hand. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. 20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he MIGHT destroy them utterly, and that they MIGHT have no favour, but that he MIGHT destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses. JOSHUA 20 9 These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares MIGHT flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. --MORE-- |
