JEREMIAH 31 18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou HAST chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. JEREMIAH 36 6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou HAST written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities. 14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou HAST read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them. 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. 29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou HAST burned this roll, saying, Why HAST thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. 25 But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou HAST said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto thee: JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. 18 For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou HAST put thy trust in me, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 44 16 As for the word that thou HAST spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? 21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou HAST slain them in the day of thine anger; thou HAST killed, and not pitied. 22 Thou HAST called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD's anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed. LAMENTATIONS 3 17 And thou HAST removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. 42 We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou HAST not pardoned. 43 Thou HAST covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou HAST slain, thou HAST not pitied. 44 Thou HAST covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through. 45 Thou HAST made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people. 56 Thou HAST heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. 58 O LORD, thou HAST pleaded the causes of my soul; thou HAST redeemed my life. 59 O LORD, thou HAST seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. 60 Thou HAST seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. 61 Thou HAST heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; LAMENTATIONS 5 22 But thou HAST utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 3 19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou HAST delivered thy soul. 20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou HAST not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou HAST delivered thy soul. EZEKIEL 4 6 And when thou HAST accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. 8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou HAST ended the days of thy siege. EZEKIEL 5 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou HAST defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity. EZEKIEL 8 12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, HAST thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth. 15 Then said he unto me, HAST thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. 17 Then he said unto me, HAST thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. --MORE-- |
