DEUTERONOMY 17 4 And it be told thee, and thou HAST heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel: DEUTERONOMY 18 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 8 Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou HAST redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. 10 When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou HAST taken them captive, 11 And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and HAST a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; 14 And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou HAST humbled her. DEUTERONOMY 22 3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou HAST found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself. 9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou HAST sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. DEUTERONOMY 23 23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou HAST vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou HAST promised with thy mouth. DEUTERONOMY 24 19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and HAST forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands. DEUTERONOMY 26 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, HAST given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God: 12 When thou HAST made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and HAST given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; 13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou HAST commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them. 14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou HAST commanded me. 15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou HAST given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey. 17 Thou HAST avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou HAST forsaken me. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 32 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and HAST forgotten God that formed thee. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 2 17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou HAST made us swear. 20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou HAST made us to swear. JOSHUA 7 7 And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore HAST thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan! 19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou HAST done; hide it not from me. 25 And Joshua said, Why HAST thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 14 9 And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou HAST wholly followed the LORD my God. JOSHUA 15 19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou HAST given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs. JOSHUA 17 14 And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why HAST thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto? 17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and HAST great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: JUDGES 1 15 And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou HAST given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs. JUDGES 5 21 The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou HAST trodden down strength. JUDGES 6 36 And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou HAST said, 37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou HAST said. JUDGES 7 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and AFRAID, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. JUDGES 8 1 And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why HAST thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply. 22 Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou HAST delivered us from the hand of Midian. JUDGES 9 38 Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth, wherewith thou saidst, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou HAST despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them. JUDGES 11 12 And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What HAST thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land? 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou HAST brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. 36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou HAST opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon. JUDGES 14 16 And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou HAST put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and HAST not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee? JUDGES 15 11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou HAST done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them. 18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou HAST given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? JUDGES 16 10 And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou HAST mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound. 13 And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou HAST mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web. 15 And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou HAST mocked me these three times, and HAST not told me wherein thy great strength lieth. --MORE-- |
