PROVERBS 7 4 SAY unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: PROVERBS 20 9 Who can SAY, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? 22 SAY not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. PROVERBS 24 29 SAY not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. PROVERBS 30 9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and SAY, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. 15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things SAY not, It is enough: PROVERBS 31 21 She is not AFRAID of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. ECCLESIASTES 5 6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither SAY thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? ECCLESIASTES 7 10 SAY not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. ECCLESIASTES 8 4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may SAY unto him, What doest thou? ECCLESIASTES 12 1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt SAY, I have no pleasure in them; 5 Also when they shall be AFRAID of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: ISAIAH 3 10 SAY ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. ISAIAH 7 4 And SAY unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. ISAIAH 8 12 SAY ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall SAY, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be AFRAID. 19 And when they shall SAY unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? ISAIAH 9 9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that SAY in the pride and stoutness of heart, ISAIAH 10 24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not AFRAID of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. 29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is AFRAID; Gibeah of Saul is fled. ISAIAH 12 1 And in that day thou shalt SAY, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be AFRAID: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 4 And in that day shall ye SAY, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. ISAIAH 13 8 And they shall be AFRAID: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. ISAIAH 14 4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and SAY, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! 10 All they shall speak and SAY unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. ISAIAH 19 11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how SAY ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall SAY in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 29 15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they SAY, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work SAY of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed SAY of him that framed it, He had no understanding? ISAIAH 30 10 Which SAY to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: 22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt SAY unto it, Get thee hence. ISAIAH 31 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be AFRAID of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be AFRAID of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 33 14 The sinners in Zion are AFRAID; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 24 And the inhabitant shall not SAY, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. ISAIAH 35 4 SAY to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. ISAIAH 36 4 And Rabshakeh said unto them, SAY ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest? 5 I SAY, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me? 7 But if thou SAY to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar? ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye SAY unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 9 And he heard SAY concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying, ISAIAH 38 5 Go, and SAY to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 15 What shall I SAY? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; SAY unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may SAY, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words. 27 The first shall SAY to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings. --MORE-- |
