PROVERBS 27 1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring FORTH. PROVERBS 30 16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the FIRE that saith not, It is enough. 27 The locusts have no king, yet go they FORTH all of them by bands; 33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth FORTH butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth FORTH blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth FORTH strife. PROVERBS 31 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth FORTH her hands to the needy. ECCLESIASTES 2 6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth FORTH trees: ECCLESIASTES 5 15 As he came FORTH of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. ECCLESIASTES 7 18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come FORTH of them all. ECCLESIASTES 10 1 Dead FLIES cause the ointment of the apothecary to send FORTH a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. SONG OF SOLOMON 1 3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured FORTH, therefore do the virgins love thee. 8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way FORTH by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents. 12 While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth FORTH the smell thereof. SONG OF SOLOMON 2 9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh FORTH at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. 13 The fig tree putteth FORTH her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. SONG OF SOLOMON 3 11 Go FORTH, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart. SONG OF SOLOMON 6 10 Who is she that looketh FORTH as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? SONG OF SOLOMON 7 11 Come, my beloved, let us go FORTH into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud FORTH: there will I give thee my loves. SONG OF SOLOMON 8 5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee FORTH: there she brought thee FORTH that bare thee. 6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of FIRE, which hath a most vehement flame. ISAIAH 1 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with FIRE: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 15 And when ye spread FORTH your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. ISAIAH 2 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go FORTH the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 3 16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched FORTH necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: ISAIAH 4 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming FIRE by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. ISAIAH 5 2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, and it brought FORTH wild grapes. 4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, brought it FORTH wild grapes? 24 Therefore as the FIRE devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched FORTH his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ISAIAH 7 3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go FORTH now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field; 25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending FORTH of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. ISAIAH 9 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of FIRE. 18 For wickedness burneth as the FIRE: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. 19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the FIRE: no man shall spare his brother. ISAIAH 10 16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a FIRE. 17 And the light of Israel shall be for a FIRE, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; ISAIAH 11 1 And there shall come FORTH a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: ISAIAH 13 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going FORTH, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ISAIAH 14 7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break FORTH into singing. 29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come FORTH a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. ISAIAH 23 4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring FORTH children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins. ISAIAH 25 11 And he shall spread FORTH his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth FORTH his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands. ISAIAH 26 11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the FIRE of thine enemies shall devour them. 18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought FORTH wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. ISAIAH 27 8 In measure, when it shooteth FORTH, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on FIRE: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 28 19 From the time that it goeth FORTH it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. 29 This also cometh FORTH from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. ISAIAH 29 6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring FIRE. ISAIAH 30 14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take FIRE from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. 27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring FIRE: 30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring FIRE, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is FIRE and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. --MORE-- |
