SONG OF SOLOMON 6 10 Who is she that looketh FORTH as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? SONG OF SOLOMON 7 11 Come, my beloved, let us go FORTH into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud FORTH: there will I give thee my loves. SONG OF SOLOMON 8 5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee FORTH: there she brought thee FORTH that bare thee. 6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of FIRE, which hath a most vehement flame. ISAIAH 1 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with FIRE: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 15 And when ye spread FORTH your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. ISAIAH 2 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go FORTH the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 3 16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched FORTH necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: ISAIAH 4 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming FIRE by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. ISAIAH 5 2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, and it brought FORTH wild grapes. 4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring FORTH grapes, brought it FORTH wild grapes? 24 Therefore as the FIRE devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched FORTH his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ISAIAH 7 3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go FORTH now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field; 25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending FORTH of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. ISAIAH 9 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of FIRE. 18 For wickedness burneth as the FIRE: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. 19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the FIRE: no man shall spare his brother. ISAIAH 10 16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a FIRE. 17 And the light of Israel shall be for a FIRE, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; ISAIAH 11 1 And there shall come FORTH a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: ISAIAH 13 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going FORTH, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ISAIAH 27 8 In measure, when it shooteth FORTH, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on FIRE: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. ISAIAH 28 19 From the time that it goeth FORTH it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. 29 This also cometh FORTH from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. ISAIAH 29 6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring FIRE. ISAIAH 30 14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take FIRE from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. 27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring FIRE: 30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring FIRE, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is FIRE and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. ISAIAH 31 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called FORTH against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose FIRE is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 32 20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send FORTH thither the feet of the ox and the ass. ISAIAH 33 11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring FORTH stubble: your breath, as FIRE, shall devour you. 12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the FIRE. 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring FIRE? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ISAIAH 34 1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come FORTH of it. ISAIAH 36 3 Then came FORTH unto him Eliakim, Hilkiah's son, which was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, Asaph's son, the recorder. ISAIAH 37 3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring FORTH. 9 And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come FORTH to make war with thee.
