2 CORINTHIANS 9 1 FOR as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous FOR me to write to you: 2 FOR I know the forwardness of your mind, FOR which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: FOR God loveth a cheerful giver. 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth FOR ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread FOR your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 12 FOR the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; 13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God FOR your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and FOR your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; 14 And by their prayer FOR you, which long after you FOR the exceeding grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be unto God FOR his unspeakable gift. 2 CORINTHIANS 10 3 FOR though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (FOR the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 8 FOR though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us FOR edification, and not FOR your destruction, I should not be ashamed: 10 FOR his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible. 12 FOR we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 14 FOR we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: FOR we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: 18 FOR not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. 2 CORINTHIANS 11 2 FOR I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: FOR I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 4 FOR if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 5 FOR I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. 9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: FOR that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. 13 FOR such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; FOR Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 19 FOR ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. 20 FOR ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed FOR evermore, knoweth that I lie not. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 1 It is not expedient FOR me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful FOR a man to utter. 6 FOR though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; FOR I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 8 FOR this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient FOR thee: FOR my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses FOR Christ's sake: FOR when I am weak, then am I strong. 11 I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: FOR I ought to have been commended of you: FOR in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. 13 FOR what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong. 14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: FOR I seek not your's but you: FOR the children ought not to lay up FOR the parents, but the parents FOR the children. 15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent FOR you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. 19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, FOR your edifying. 20 FOR I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: 2 CORINTHIANS 13 4 FOR though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. FOR we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 8 FOR we can do nothing against the truth, but FOR the truth. 9 FOR we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. GALATIANS 1 4 Who gave himself FOR our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 To whom be glory FOR ever and ever. Amen. 10 FOR do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? FOR if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 12 FOR I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13 FOR ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: GALATIANS 2 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not FOR an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. 6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) FOR they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me: 8 (FOR he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) 12 FOR before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: FOR by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 18 FOR if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 FOR I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself FOR me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: FOR if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. --MORE-- |
