ROMANS 4 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his FAITH is counted for righteousness. 9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that FAITH was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the FAITH which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that FAITH of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of FAITH. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, FAITH is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 16 Therefore it is of FAITH, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the FAITH of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 19 And being not weak in FAITH, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in FAITH, giving glory to God; ROMANS 5 1 Therefore being justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by FAITH into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ROMANS 9 30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of FAITH. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by FAITH, but as it were by the works of the law. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ROMANS 14 1 Him that is weak in the FAITH receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 22 Hast thou FAITH? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of FAITH: for whatsoever is not of FAITH is sin. GALATIANS 3 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of FAITH? 5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of FAITH? 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of FAITH, the same are the children of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through FAITH, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they which be of FAITH are blessed with faithful Abraham. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by FAITH. 12 And the law is not of FAITH: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by FAITH of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before FAITH came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the FAITH which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by FAITH. 25 But after that FAITH is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by FAITH in Christ Jesus. --MORE-- |
