MATTHEW 23 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for A pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is A debtor! 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at A gnat, and swallow A camel. 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as A hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! MATTHEW 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for A witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 16 Then let them which be in Judaea FLEE into the mountains: 31 And he shall send his angels with A great sound of A trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn A parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 45 Who then is A faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 50 The lord of that servant shall come in A day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, MATTHEW 25 6 And at midnight there was A cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as A man travelling into A far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 19 After A long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over A few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over A few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as A shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was A stranger, and ye took me in: 38 When saw we thee A stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 43 I was A stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or A stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? MATTHEW 26 7 There came unto him A woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. 10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought A good work upon me. 13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for A memorial of her. 18 And he said, Go into the city to such A man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. 36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto A place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 39 And he went A little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. 47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him A great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48 Now he that betrayed him gave them A sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. 51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck A servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against A thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. 69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and A damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. 73 And after A while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. --MORE-- |
