ROMANS 3 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man A liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. 5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as A man) 7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as A sinner? 25 Whom God hath set forth to be A propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 28 Therefore we conclude that A man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. ROMANS 10 2 For I bear them record that they have A zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without A preacher? 19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by A foolish nation I will anger you. 21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto A disobedient and gainsaying people. ROMANS 11 5 Even so then at this present time also there is A remnant according to the election of grace. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made A snare, and A trap, and A stumblingblock, and A recompence unto them: 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being A wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 23 And they also, if they ABIDE not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into A good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? ROMANS 12 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies A living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not A terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, A revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ROMANS 14 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put A stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. ROMANS 15 8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was A minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: 12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be A root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. 23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having A great desire these many years to come unto you; 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make A certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. ROMANS 16 1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is A servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: 2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been A succourer of many, and of myself also. 23 Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become A fool, that he may be wise. 1 CORINTHIANS 4 1 Let A man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that A man be found faithful. 3 But with me it is A very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 6 And these things, brethren, I have in A figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. 9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made A spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. 21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with A rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness? 1 CORINTHIANS 5 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be A new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called A brother be A fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or A railer, or A drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. --MORE-- |
