ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 22 This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of ZION, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee. 32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount ZION: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this. ISAIAH 40 9 O ZION, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 27 The first shall say to ZION, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings. ISAIAH 52 1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O ZION; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. 2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of ZION. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto ZION, Thy God reigneth! 8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again ZION. ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? ISAIAH 59 20 And the Redeemer shall come to ZION, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 62 1 For ZION's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. 11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of ZION, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. ISAIAH 64 10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, ZION is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. ISAIAH 66 8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as ZION travailed, she brought forth her children. JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 6 2 I have likened the daughter of ZION to a comely and delicate woman. 23 They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of ZION. JEREMIAH 8 19 Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in ZION? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? JEREMIAH 9 19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of ZION, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 14 19 Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed ZION? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble! JEREMIAH 26 18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; ZION shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. 17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is ZION, whom no man seeketh after. JEREMIAH 31 6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to ZION unto the LORD our God. 12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of ZION, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.
