LUKE 4 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou SERVE. LUKE 8 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being AFRAID wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were AFRAID. LUKE 15 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I SERVE thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: LUKE 16 13 No servant can SERVE two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot SERVE God and mammon. LUKE 17 8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and SERVE me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? LUKE 22 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth SERVE. LUKE 24 5 And as they were AFRAID, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? JOHN 2 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins APIECE. JOHN 6 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were AFRAID. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not AFRAID. JOHN 12 26 If any man SERVE me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man SERVE me, him will my Father honour. JOHN 14 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. JOHN 19 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; ACTS 6 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and SERVE tables. ACTS 7 7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and SERVE me in this place. ACTS 9 26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all AFRAID of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. ACTS 10 4 And when he looked on him, he was AFRAID, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. ACTS 18 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not AFRAID, but speak, and hold not thy peace: ACTS 22 9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were AFRAID; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. 29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was AFRAID, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him. ACTS 27 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I SERVE, ROMANS 1 9 For God is my witness, whom I SERVE with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; ROMANS 6 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not SERVE sin. ROMANS 7 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should SERVE in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself SERVE the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. ROMANS 9 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall SERVE the younger. ROMANS 13 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be AFRAID of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be AFRAID; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. ROMANS 16 18 For they that are such SERVE not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. HEBREWS 9 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to SERVE the living God? HEBREWS 11 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not AFRAID of the king's commandment. HEBREWS 12 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may SERVE God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: HEBREWS 13 10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which SERVE the tabernacle. 1 PETER 3 6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not AFRAID with any amazement. 14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not AFRAID of their terror, neither be troubled; 2 PETER 2 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government.
