EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 33 28 For I will lay the land MOST desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through. 29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land MOST desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 35 3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee MOST desolate. 7 Thus will I make mount Seir MOST desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 41 4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the MOST holy place. 24 And the doors had two leaves APIECE, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. EZEKIEL 42 13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the MOST holy things: there shall they lay the MOST holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. EZEKIEL 43 12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be MOST holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. EZEKIEL 44 13 And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the MOST holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed. EZEKIEL 45 3 And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary and the MOST holy place. EZEKIEL 48 12 And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing MOST holy by the border of the Levites. DANIEL 3 20 And he commanded the MOST mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the MOST high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the MOST High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. 24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the MOST High, which is come upon my lord the king: 25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the MOST High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the MOST High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the MOST High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: DANIEL 5 18 O thou king, the MOST high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: 21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the MOST high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. DANIEL 7 18 But the saints of the MOST High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the MOST High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 25 And he shall speak great words against the MOST High, and shall wear out the saints of the MOST High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the MOST High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. DANIEL 9 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the MOST Holy. DANIEL 11 15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the MOST fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 39 Thus shall he do in the MOST strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. HOSEA 7 16 They return, but not to the MOST High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. HOSEA 11 7 And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the MOST High, none at all would exalt him. HOSEA 12 14 Ephraim provoked him to anger MOST bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his LORD return unto him. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 7 4 The best of them is as a brier: the MOST upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 3 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. MATTHEW 2 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: --MORE-- |
