DEUTERONOMY 13 1 If there arise among YOU a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth YOU, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn YOU away from the LORD your God, which brought YOU out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed YOU out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about YOU, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among YOU. 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among YOU, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; 14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among YOU; DEUTERONOMY 14 7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto YOU. 8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto YOU: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase. 10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto YOU. 19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto YOU: they shall not be eaten. DEUTERONOMY 15 4 Save when there shall be no poor among YOU; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it: 7 If there be among YOU a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: DEUTERONOMY 17 2 If there be found among YOU, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant, 7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among YOU. 16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto YOU, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. DEUTERONOMY 18 10 There shall not be found among YOU any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 19 19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among YOU. 20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among YOU. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with YOU, to fight for YOU against your enemies, to save YOU. 18 That they teach YOU not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God. DEUTERONOMY 22 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among YOU. 24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among YOU. DEUTERONOMY 23 4 Because they met YOU not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 10 If there be among YOU any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp: 16 He shall dwell with thee, even among YOU, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him. DEUTERONOMY 24 7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among YOU. 8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach YOU: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do. DEUTERONOMY 26 11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among YOU. DEUTERONOMY 27 1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command YOU this day. 4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command YOU this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 54 So that the man that is tender among YOU, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: 56 The tender and delicate woman among YOU, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over YOU to do YOU good, and to multiply YOU; so the LORD will rejoice over YOU to destroy YOU, and to bring YOU to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. 68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy YOU. DEUTERONOMY 29 4 Yet the LORD hath not given YOU an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. 5 And I have led YOU forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon YOU, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. 10 Ye stand this day all of YOU before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel, 14 Neither with YOU only do I make this covenant and this oath; 18 Lest there should be among YOU man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among YOU a root that beareth gall and wormwood; 22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after YOU, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; DEUTERONOMY 30 18 I denounce unto YOU this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against YOU, that I have set before YOU life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: DEUTERONOMY 31 5 And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded YOU. 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 19 Now therefore write ye this song for YOU, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with YOU this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded YOU; and evil will befall YOU in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. --MORE-- |
