ACTS 23 9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or AN angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with AN oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee. 27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with AN army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman. ACTS 25 11 For if I be AN offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar. ACTS 27 12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is AN haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not AN hair fall from the head of any of you. --MORE-- |
