EZEKIEL 14 4 Therefore speak unto them, and SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; 6 Therefore SAY unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. 17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and SAY, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: EZEKIEL 17 3 And SAY, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: 9 SAY thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. 12 SAY now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; EZEKIEL 18 19 Yet SAY ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 25 Yet ye SAY, The way of the LORD is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? EZEKIEL 20 3 Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. 5 And SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; 27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. 30 Wherefore SAY unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? 32 And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye SAY, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. 47 And SAY to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. 49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they SAY of me, Doth he not speak parables? EZEKIEL 21 3 And SAY to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. 7 And it shall be, when they SAY unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD. 9 Son of man, prophesy, and SAY, Thus saith the LORD; SAY, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: 24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I SAY, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. 28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and SAY, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even SAY thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: EZEKIEL 22 3 Then SAY thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. 24 Son of man, SAY unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. EZEKIEL 24 3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it: EZEKIEL 25 3 And SAY unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity; 8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do SAY, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; EZEKIEL 26 17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and SAY to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it! EZEKIEL 27 3 And SAY unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 28 2 Son of man, SAY unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: 9 Wilt thou yet SAY before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and SAY unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 22 And SAY, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. EZEKIEL 30 2 Son of man, prophesy and SAY, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and SAY unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers. 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 33 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and SAY unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 8 When I SAY unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 11 SAY unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, SAY unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall SAY to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I SAY unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 17 Yet the children of thy people SAY, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 20 Yet ye SAY, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. 25 Wherefore SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? 27 SAY thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. EZEKIEL 34 2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and SAY unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 35 3 And SAY unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. EZEKIEL 36 1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and SAY, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: 3 Therefore prophesy and SAY, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and SAY unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: 13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they SAY unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations: 22 Therefore SAY unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 35 And they shall SAY, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. --MORE-- |
